Figure out how to install Debian on the device and run it as a normal Linux server.(easy way) Find an an APK for PMS from a reputable source if it exists.The Plex Media Server app on the Play Store is not marked as compatible with any android phones as far as I know. I'm looking for thoughts on how to go about this or reasons it might not work. It has a snapdragon 835 and I think it would make a pretty decent device (combined with a USB SSD) for serving direct stream content to a Fire TV Stick 4k. I've recently upgraded and want to repurpose my Essential PH1 as a Plex Media Server.
